1. 30-Day Free Trial
All new users receive a 30-day free trial to explore Safari Shop Builder's features:
- No credit card required to start your trial
- Full access to all plan features during trial period
- Cancel anytime during trial with no charges
- Automatic conversion to paid plan after trial unless cancelled
2. Subscription Refunds
2.1 Monthly Subscriptions
For monthly subscriptions (Link-in-Bio R100/month, Basic R199/month, Pro R499/month):
- Full refund if cancelled within 48 hours of initial payment
- Prorated refund for unused days if cancelled within first 14 days
- No refund for cancellations after 14 days (service continues until end of billing period)
- Refunds processed within 5-7 business days
2.2 Annual Subscriptions
For annual subscriptions (AI Premium R995/year):
- Full refund if cancelled within 30 days of payment
- Prorated refund for unused months if cancelled within first 90 days
- No refund for cancellations after 90 days
- Refunds processed within 7-10 business days
3. Transaction Fee Refunds
Transaction fees charged on sales are non-refundable except in cases of:
- Technical errors causing duplicate charges
- Platform downtime preventing order processing
- Billing system malfunctions
4. Setup and One-Time Service Refunds
For custom setup services, domain purchases, and premium templates:
- Full refund if service not delivered within promised timeframe
- Partial refund if service partially completed but unsatisfactory
- No refund once service is completed and delivered
- Domain purchases are non-refundable after registration
5. Exceptional Circumstances
We may provide refunds outside our standard policy for:
- Extended platform outages (>24 hours)
- Data loss due to platform errors
- Billing errors or unauthorized charges
- Serious technical issues preventing platform use
- Medical emergencies or hardship cases (at our discretion)

Refund Request Process

- Response time: We'll respond within 24 hours
- Processing: Approved refunds processed within 5-10 business days
7. Refund Methods
Refunds are processed using the original payment method:
- Credit/Debit Cards: 3-5 business days
- PayFast: 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfer: 2-3 business days
- Manual Payments: Direct bank transfer within 5 business days
8. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Domain name registrations and renewals
- Third-party service integrations (email marketing, analytics)
- Custom development work (after completion)
- Training sessions and consultations (after delivery)
- Transaction fees on processed sales
- Subscription fees after the refund eligibility period
9. Cancellation vs Refund
Important distinction:
- Cancellation: Stops future billing, service continues until end of current period
- Refund: Returns money for current billing period and may terminate service immediately
- You can cancel anytime without requesting a refund
- Cancelled accounts retain data for 30 days for potential reactivation
10. Dispute Resolution
If you're not satisfied with our refund decision:

- Provide additional documentation or context
- We'll review your case within 48 hours
- Final decisions will be communicated in writing
11. Fair Usage Policy
To prevent abuse of our refund policy:
- Maximum of 2 refund requests per customer per year
- Accounts with excessive refund requests may be restricted
- We reserve the right to refuse service to repeat refund requesters
- Fraudulent refund claims may result in account termination
